The Spoken Tutorial project is about teaching and learning a particular Free/Libre and Open Source Software via an easy video tool. It is a screencast of approximately 10 mintutes with running commentary, a recording of computer session created for self learning.
FOSSEE CFD team has created a series of Spoken Tutorials on OpenFOAM 7 which contains tutorials on solving cases using different OpenFOAM solvers.
Prerequisites for OpenFOAM Spoken Tutorials:
- User should have basic knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). You can view courses on CFD on NPTEL website here.
- User should have basic knowledge of Linux Terminal Commands, as OpenFOAM is accessed through terminal. Click here to go through basic Linux Commands for OpenFOAM. You can also go through Linux Spoken Tutorials here.
To install OpenFOAM 7
For Ubuntu Linux Operating Systems 16.04 onwards the Installation manual is available.
While watching the Spoken Tutorials, you need to refer to the Instruction Sheet in parallel.
